Many different warning signs preceded the Parkland shooting, some of which were reported and some of which were not. Other tips were reported but not handled properly, and thus fell through the cracks. Having a unified system like SaferWatch in place provides an easy avenue to report issues, and track accountability with digital records of when law enforcement and school officials receive potential threats. Additionally, SaferWatch’s Mobile Panic Alert System can simultaneously notify multiple entities of a potential emergency, including 911 centers and public safety answering points.
